Let’s take it back to where it all started. At the ripe old age of 16, Tim Weyner, better known in the Philadelphia/ tri state area as “Dj Daily” started developing his love for the art of dj’ing at his best friend Chris’s (Dj Prestige of NYC) family home in northern New Jersey. With a father who used to dj in the disco / funk scene, they were fortunate to be able to use a vintage pair of technic 1200 turntables and a simple battle style mixer. Slowly but surely, Tim saved up enough money to buy some records at the legendary Rock and Soul record store in New York City. After a couple years of practice, Tim eventually Dj’ed his first paid gig, a school dance for at his little brothers grade school. Year’s later he would go on to attend Drexel University and study Marketing. This is where Dj Daily came into his own, working for one of the area’s largest entertainment companies; Schaffer Sound productions. Schaffer proved to be one of the most beneficial ways to start out in new city that Daily had previously not been exposed to. Dj’ing all types of private events such as weddings, fashion shows and corporate sponsored parties for brands such as Bacardi, Nicole Miller, Guinness, Liquid Lightening, LA Fitness, StudentCity.com, among others. Dj Daily learned to hone his music knowledge and song selection to not only satisfy his age and generation demographic but an older base of adults with different musical tastes, as well. He later went on the Dj for many of the area’s largest and well-known bars and club venues, Dj’ing for audiences of 2,000 people or more and is constantly redefining the “open format” genre.

After recently returning for a month long tour playing for studentcity.com in Cancun, Mexico during the peak time of Spring Break 2013, Daily opened for acts such as Deniz Koyu, VICE, Fashen and Skribble. During his Cancun tour, Daily was invited to play at Cancun mega club such as The City, Palazzo, Sweet, Dady’ O as well as the all new Mandala Beach club. DJ Daily has been gaining momentum as one of Philly’s and Atlantic City’s most sought after jocks.

Daily now holds residencies at Whisper in the hip Rittenhouse district of Philadelphia. You can also catch him traveling to the midwest monthly playing the famous day party @ Castaways on Lake Michigan and the sexy Library Club in Milwaukee, WI.
